1. Local processing (no file uploads)

SterileCSV runs locally on your device. Your CSV/XLSX files are processed on your machine. We do not upload your file contents to our servers. SterileCSV 1.0.0 does not include telemetry.

2. What SterileCSV processes (on your computer)

• Input: the CSV file(s) you select.
• Output: generated Excel .xlsx files in your chosen output folder.
• Optional: per-file manifest files (.manifest.json) next to the output, if enabled in settings.

3. Data stored locally

• license.json: your license file, which includes your name/email and license terms.
• Preferences: app settings and UI preferences.
• Logs: diagnostic logs (used for troubleshooting).
• Manifests: if enabled, .manifest.json files can include hashes and file paths for auditability.

4. Purchase and support data

• Purchase and delivery data: name, email address, order/transaction identifiers, and the information needed to issue and send your personalized license.json.
• Support communications: if you email support, we process your email address, message content, and any attachments you choose to send (for example logs or screenshots).

5. Waitlist (optional)

• Waitlist data: if you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and any optional name/company you provide.
• Purpose: notify you when checkout opens and share launch updates.
• Storage: stored in our Cloudflare infrastructure; we delete on request.

6. What data we do not collect

• We do not receive or store your CSV/XLSX file contents through the app.
• The SterileCSV desktop app does not run in-app analytics or telemetry.

We use Cloudflare Pages Analytics (privacy-friendly and cookieless) to measure basic traffic (page views, referrers, device type).

No tracking cookies, profiles, or cross-site tracking.

7. Network access

• SterileCSV does not perform network requests as part of normal operation.
• If you contact support by email, any information you share is handled through your email provider.

8. Payment provider (Paddle)

Payments are processed by Paddle and its partners. We receive limited order details from Paddle to fulfill your purchase, deliver your license, and provide support. We do not receive your full payment card details.
