Refund Policy

1. How refunds are handled

SterileCSV is sold via Paddle. Refund handling is managed by Paddle on our behalf under the terms shown during checkout and in your order confirmation/invoice.

2. Delivery timing

• License delivery: delivery is automatic after payment, typically within minutes. If you don’t receive it within 15 minutes, contact support.

3. Refunds and cancellations

Because SterileCSV is delivered as digital content and your license is issued as an offline file (license.json), our default policy is:

• You may request a cancellation/refund before a license is issued (automatic after payment).
• Once your license.json has been delivered, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
• If a cancellation/refund is granted (or a chargeback is issued), the license grant for that order is terminated and you must stop using SterileCSV and delete any delivered license.json.

If you’re experiencing a technical issue, email support first—often we can resolve it quickly without a refund.

4. How to request

Email contact@sterilecsv.com with:

• the email address used at checkout,
• your Paddle order ID (or invoice), and
• a short description of the issue/request.

For order lookups and formal refund processing, you may also contact Paddle support directly.

5. Anti-abuse

Refunds/cancellations may be refused in cases of fraud, chargeback abuse, or material violation of the license terms (for example sharing license files beyond your purchased seats).

If a chargeback is initiated after license delivery, we may contest it and treat it as a termination of the license grant for that order.

6. EU/EEA/UK consumer “right of withdrawal” (digital content)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases. For digital content with immediate performance, that right can be lost once you have expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal where applicable. Paddle typically collects the required consent during checkout.
